Clayton_Gidget_2.jpgTulip Art132 viewsAbstract Extreme Close-up of a Duo-Colored Tulip - I loved the pattern this macro shot created because it really isn't about the whole flower.

Clayton_Gidget_3.jpgBlowing in the wind144 viewsDandelion Seed: This dandelion has gone to seed. The crown of seeds had just one seed blowing in the wind. That is the one that had to be captured.

DSC_1405.jpg2009 Vicious Lightning Bolt19 viewsFirst time experimenting with my new Nikon D90 and witnessed some rapid, very close range lightning with no rain yet on the way home from family dining. I rushed to get my camera and tripod and set it for delayed timer shots and the 2nd or 3rd shot was the luckiest and best shot! I had about 10min. before the rain came down. The lightening was extremely intense which masked my common sense from the potential dangers of this wicked storm.

DSC_2313.jpg2009 Plano Balloon Festival Face Painting: Kitty19 viewsAt the end of the 2009 Plano Balloon Festival, my daughter gets a Kitty painted on her face to match her Kitty earrings! I'm very satisfied with the shallow depth of field in this extremely flexible Tamron lens!

Macro_-_00532-001.jpgMarvels Of Nature57 viewsThe creature in this image is a tiny ant which in real life is about 1.5 to 2 millimiters long and almost transparant which is why it is not easily visible to the naket eye unless you look very closely. This photo was taken with a Sony DSC-H10 with a Pentax 50mm f2.0 reversed for macro.
